Karen Garrett, PA-C, co-owner
Karen Garrett is a Virginia native and has lived in Martinsville for almost 30 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at Guilford College with a double major in biology and chemistry. She graduated from the physician assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine with honors in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in adult medicine with a special interest in women's health and almost 10 years in aesthetic medicine and has completed numerous advanced training courses. She has most recently been selected as an injector at an Allergan Master Expert Course, completed a cadaver course with Dr. David Saadat and trained with the lip queen herself, Julie Horne. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two legged and four legged children, traveling with her family and friends and is constantly learning. Deepak Banerjee, MD, co-owner
Dr. Banerjee completed his general and interventional cardiology training at MCV-VCU, Richmond, VA in 2005. He relocated to Martinsville from the Hampton Roads area in 2010 and has called it home ever since. He co-founded our sister company, Stateline Health, in 2017 with Karen Garrett. He is board certified in both general and interventional cardiology as well as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. His expertise includes evaluation and treatment of all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. He also specializes in vein procedures including laser, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing tennis, taking long walks and traveling.
